Dr. Tod A. Burnett to be Keynote Speaker at the 17th Annual CCCAA Convention

The California Community College Athletic Association is pleased to announce that Dr. Tod A. Burnett will be presenting the 2014 CCCAA Convention Keynote Address entitled A Bright Future for the CCCAA. Dr. Burnett has been the Saddleback College President since 2008 and also serves as the Chair of the CCCAA Board of Directors. Passionate about college athletics and student success, Dr. Burnett will provide ideas and insights on how the CCCAA can better function to support student athletes.  The Board of Directors is working with constituencies to improve processes, procedures, and protocols and Dr. Burnett will highlight the results of a recent board retreat held with Board members, Conference Commissioners, CCCADA Executive Board, and the CCCAA CEO.

The CCCAA annual convention will be held at the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel from April 1-4. The convention will bring together community college representatives and athletic leaders from the 104 community colleges fielding athletic programs. Dr. Burnett’s keynote will be taking place on Wednesday, April 2, at 8:30am.
