Cañada College Athletics to host Hall of Fame ceremonies on Saturday

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - In lieu of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Cañada College, the Athletics Hall of Fame Committee has selected a class of distinguished athletes to be inducted during the 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday evening in San Mateo.

The 2018 class features Lifetime Achievement Recipient Tom Mohr along with fellow inductees Catherine Abrams, Raphael Bournigal, Tim Bowler, Ron Calloway, Eduardo Esteban, Carrie Gann, Brian Gomes, Chip Hooper, Kristina Leydecker, and Clayton Madden.

”We are honoring a former President, along with Women’s Soccer, Tennis, Golf student athletes,” said Athletic Director Mike Garcia. “The Men’s Baseball, Basketball and Tennis programs are also represented. The 2016-2017 & 2017-2018 Student-Athletes of the Year Award Winners will also be introduced.”
